Material Description

Tantalum is a rare and refractory metal. Its melting point is 2996℃ and density is 16. 68g/cm3; and lattice type: cubic body-centered. Its thermal conductivity coefficient is (25℃) 54W/M・K; and coefficient of linear expansion is (0~100℃) 6. 5×10-6. The main purpose of Tantalum is to be used for production of tantalum electrolytic capacitors; in addition, it can also be used in high-temperature vacuum furnace and used to produce supporting attachments, heat shields, heaters and cooling fins, etc.

Tantalum alloy mainly includes Ta-2. 5W, Ta-10W, Ta-40Nb and others. Because of its good resistance to high temperature and mineral acid corrosion, Tantalum Alloy can be used to produce heat-resistant and high-strength materials for aircrafts, missiles, and rockets, and parts for control and regulation equipment.
